Diana Stalder: Caviar Luxury Facial

Trying out Diana Stalder’s Caviar Luxury Facial with Dermalift!

Nowadays, you can no longer leave the house without getting stuck in traffic. Anywhere you go, you have to allot at least two hours, especially if you're heading to places like BGC and Makati. So, whenever I do go out, I really make sure I get as much done before heading back home.

Case in point - when I met up with friends for lunch at Marco Polo Manila a few weeks ago, I dropped by SM Megamall as well for some pampering. I've been wanting to check out Diana Stalder for a while now so that's exactly what I did.

First thing I noticed when I stepped inside was the cafe. It's not often that facial clinics have their own cafe, but I was also surprised to learn that they make their own juices, cookies, salads, and even sandwiches.

For the treatment, I availed of their Caviar Luxury Facial.

What the Caviar Luxury Facial basically does is lift, tone, and firm the skin. It’s highly recommended for those in their 30s though they do get clients from the younger crowd as well. Compared to other facials I’ve tried, this one is generally relaxing. It started with the therapist, Charm, cleaning my face using a sponge with water, a foaming cleanser, and then moving onto the light toner. Products used in the Caviar Luxury Facial are all from Spain.

From there, she then applies Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and left it on for 10 minutes. For those who don’t know, AHA is an ingredient often found in Korean products to remove the dead and dry skin. Aside from that, it also helps lighten pigmentations and fixes dark, and uneven skin. I felt some stinging in this part of the facial but nothing that one can’t handle.

Next, Charm brought out the Dermalift Collagen Serum and massaged it onto my skin. It contains a very high concentration of active ingredients that can penetrate deep into the skin, so, all you need for one session is that teeny tiny bottle.
To further moisturize the skin, she topped it off with the Dermafusion Mask Therapy that contains collagen. It's the biggest mask I've seen yet, as it was able to cover my entire face and neck. She left me for a good 20 minutes before coming back with what she called the "skin awakening."
It's supposed to boost the collagen from the mask using microcurrents. I looked it up and this is what I found - a microcurrent facial emits extremely low-voltage electrical currents (hence 'micro' current), which mirror your own body's electrical currents, on a cellular level to repair damaged skin and stimulate collagen and elastin production. Onto the last part of the facial, the Dermalift. Now, if you want to look younger, this is the treatment for you. Using the same machine, Charm "lifted" each part of my face (from forehead, cheeks, jaw, eyes, lips, and laughter lines. Neck is included from fifth session onwards), five minutes at a time. I was told not to smile for an hour after the treatment.
The treatment ended with a relaxing cold compress to close the pores and massaged the remaining serum onto my face. The treatment took about two hours in total, so if you're planning to try it out, adjust your schedule accordingly.
Diana Stalder recommends getting at least 10 sessions of the Caviar Luxury Facial or Dermalift for best results. Prices are as follows:
Dermalift - Php 1,999 | Caviar Luxury Treatment (with Dermalift) - Php 3,999
