La Vita Italia does not stop as Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s restaurants and bars continue to
celebrate the country with special treats that will leave a mark this September.
Guests staying in Marco Polo Manila are in for a truly flavourful delight, as guest chef Pasqualino
Barbasso’s special gourmet pizzas are available exclusively from 10:30AM to 11:00PM.
Variants include Piemontese (beef, tuna, mozzarella, capers, anchovies), Mediterranea (eggplant, sun-dried tomato, mozzarella, basil powder), Arrotolata (artichokes, parma ham, cherry tomatoes, arugula leaves), and Grand Fume (smoked salmon, burrata, arugula leaves, cherry tomatoes).
Premium Italian confections are also available for a post-meal dessert, an afternoon break, or just-because. Café Pronto is serving Panforte and Tiramisu to keep the day sweeter until 18 September. A Tiramisu smoothie is also available until the end of September for those who can’t get enough.
Bringing refreshing drinks inspired by the Italian countryside is Connect Lounge with Verde Chiaro Sour and Dolce Cassis, until 15 September. Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge also brings the feel of chic Italian nights with classic cocktails, such as a special house-blend Limoncello and barrel-aged Negroni. Both drinks can be enjoyed with the second round on the house for the whole month of September at Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge.
As always, we enjoyed their special offerings at Cucina - the highlight of which was Chef Pasqualino Barbasso's acrobat skills! I swear, it was a show like no other.
The Lasagna they served at the buffet was the best eggplant lasagna I've ever tasted. We immediately went back for more! Congratulations on yet another successful event, Marco Polo Manila!
