My friend just published her first book!!
Last Saturday, my friend Jel Tordesillas launched her first book, 30 Days With Paulo, at Book and Borders in Eastwood.
30 Days With Paulo is about two creative spirits, Bea Fernandez and Paulo Aveneda. They meet by chance and set a 30-day deadline to see if they are meant to be together. Though the book is essentially a love story, it is also a tribute to the people who took the leap in chasing after their dreams and pursuing what they want in life.
"30 Days With Paulo is very special to me. it's my first book and also my attempt to inspire people, no matter what period they are in their lives. I hope that readers enjoy the journey as much as I did. Whether you want to swoon or are just looking to feel good after a long day at work, this book can appeal to you," Jel says.
"I believe that 30 Days With Paulo is a story that I was meant to tell. While writing this book, I hoped to achieve something that would not only fulfill my dream, but something that would inspire others to fulfill their dreams as well. As it states on its front cover, the novel is dedicated to all the souls who were brave enough to chase, and fight for, what gives them life," she continues.
The book 30 Days With Paulo also comes with its own soundtrack. I know. Amazing, right? It features lyrics to an original song, Hey Bea. The song's melody was developed and recorded by talents of Team 30 Days. Find it on Spotify and iTunes!
30 Days With Paulo is available at Frankies & Friends General Store, SM Aura, Taguig. It will also be available in Tweedle Book Cafe and Swing Place Katipunan in Quezon City starting March 15, 2019.
