My First Ever DRESSLILY Haul

Welcome to my first ever DressLily shopping haul!

Compared to other similar websites, DressLily seems to have the higher price points, and despite choosing expedited delivery, my package got stuck at the post office. I had to claim it there and pay a handling fee of Php 112. All in all, these five items cost me $65.55 (inclusive of shipping fee, insurance fees, and my 10-dollar discount from coupons). Let's start with the accessories:

Since summer's around the corner, I thought this Wood Ring Metal Ring Stud Earrings would be a good accessory for the beach. Then I remembered I'm no longer allowed to go on trips until after my wedding. Not really sure why, but I think it's one of those Chinese beliefs that you're better off following.. Like they said, "better safe than sorry."

Great for night outs and spicing up a plain outfit. These Faux Pearl Decoration Earrings can easily go with a lot of outfits, though I would've preferred it if the pearls didn't look super fake. Hihi.

Another simple piece to add to my collection. This one works well with a t-shirt or a low-cut / v-neck top. To be honest, I prefer necklaces over earrings, and I'm pretty sure I already have a similar necklace AND bracelet. Haha.

For this haul, I only got one dress - this Sunflower Print High Waist Mini Dress - a little pricey at $18.94 though. I love, love the low back however it's a little loose on me (well, I did get an XL haha) Will probably have it altered soon. This was on my DressLily Finds for January and I'm really happy I decided to get it :)

Last but not the least is this Printed Ruffle Tankini Set. This was the most expensive item in this haul - a whopping $26.76. Converted to peso, that's about Php 1,300. Why did I buy this, you ask? Well, I've always wanted a high waisted bottom and this one came with that (not in photo, obviously) but yeah. I also liked that the top has an underwire and can be worn two ways (straight or crossed back). It actually looks good as a normal top too, but might be too revealing? I guess it depends on who's wearing it. :)
