My first visit at Market Cafe, AG New World Manila Bay!
In August alone, I went to three different buffets, each one stood out in its own way.
Market Cafe was the first among the three. Despite it being a long way from home, I would totally come back for another bite. Compared to the other two I went to, Market Cafe had the least number of dishes, but I thought the dishes they served (the ones I tried, at least) were really flavorful and of good quality. Say for example, the sashimi was really fresh, so I was super happy about that. It was also the only one that had a teppanyaki station, which I absolutely loved!
The dish the chef made for me was just amazing - it had salmon, tuna, and vegetables in it with the perfect amount of light soy sauce and spice; I was supposed to share it with my friends but I eventually finished the entire thing on my own. Buti pala hindi sila humingi. HAHA.

There’s a good variety of dishes to be found at their different stations - Cheese and Charcuterie, Salads, Japanese and Chinese favorites, Grilled Meats, Teppanyaki, Seafood, Assorted Pasta, and Dessert - I guarantee you won’t run out of things to try on your lunch break.
Here are my top recommendations: Lamb Brochettes, Baby Back Ribs, Country Style Fried Chicken and Waffles, Jack Daniel’s Cajun Barbecue Short Ribs (my absolute favorite), Curry Udon, Pork Charsiu, Steamed Fish, and Sashimi (always and forever). They also have this really good Truffle Butter Corn that you shouldn’t miss!

Desserts here are another story. It’s actually the first thing that greets you when you enter the buffet! We enjoyed their Sapin-Sapin, Brownies, different Cheesecakes, Bread and Butter Pudding, Creme Catalan, Praline Cake, Tiramisu, and Dark Chocolate Cake with Jack Daniel’s Chantilly Cream! They even have a Create Your Own Donut Station filled with mallows, chocolate chips, sprinkles, and different sauces! I was actually surprised with their dessert selection as I didn’t expect there’d be so many to choose from. Definitely happy with my dining experience at Market Cafe!
