Chill evenings at Oz Bar, Holiday Inn Makati
Last month, I headed to Oz Bar for an evening of drinks with some of my KTG friends. It's been a while since I've last hung out with the group, so it was a welcome change from the busyness of every day. We were supposed to stay by the pool but it started raining, so we settled indoors. Oz Bar is located on the roof deck of Holiday Inn and Suites Makati.

There, we ordered a bunch of drinks, which we, of course, accompanied with some good food as well.
Salmon Rillettes
Nachos
Beef Salpicao with Mushrooms and Shallots
Oz Bar Fish and Chips
Meat Pizza
Potato Fritters
Calamares
Even though I had dinner prior to arriving at Oz Bar, I still ended up eating a lot! I was surprised that they offer a wide range of both food and drinks here! I absolutely loved the nachos - I really enjoyed how there was abundance of cheese and salsa in the serving (I didn't care for the jalapeños). I liked the calamares as well, I could probably finish an entire serving on my own. Haha!
For the drinks, some went with beer, some wine, some champagne.. I personally enjoyed their mojito. I think I had three glasses of it. The fact that I stuck with it just shows how much I liked it.
I highly recommend Oz Bar if you're looking for a quiet place to drink. Not a lot of people know about it and visit it, but they're working on having bands and DJs up there soon, so better follow Holiday Inn Makati for updates! ;)
