Jollibee celebrates the first of summer by treating its fans to exclusive fun-filled indoor cycling classes. Indoor cycling, also called ‘spinning’, is one of today’s trendiest workouts that utilizes high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on a stationary bike. The free sessions start with a quick Cycling 101 and other important tips and tricks on the bike to help prep participants for the intense workout.
Last week, Jollibee brought us to Ride Revolution in Makati for an hour of spinning with instructor Jay Avellana. It was my first time to join a cycling class, so to be honest, I was pretty anxious about the whole thing.
I'm glad I got to meet new friends before the class started. Finding out that I wasn't the only beginner in the room made me feel more relaxed. Hi, Colleen a.k.a. Cololoz!
It was definitely intense, guys! It was like dancing on bikes, but if you have terrible coordination like I do, it's not going to be an easy class for you. Haha! Despite not being able to keep up with the pace, I can honestly say I still had a lot of fun doing it. Would I join another spin class soon? Maybe. My legs are still sore, guys!!
