Too tired to cook at home or prepare food for a potluck? Then check out Ha-inan Delivery & Take Out!
I don't know about you, but personally, I've been through days when I didn't feel like going out to buy food, let alone prepare an entire meal at home. And as much as I love myself some Jollibee, let's face it, it's not really the healthiest option out there.
It is those occasions that I'm thankful for places like Ha-inan, a food delivery and take-out service located in Mandaluyong City. Here, the food is cooked fresh; they don't just reheat it when you order, so you know you're getting the good stuff. I mean, why even bother going out and braving the traffic for food when you can order via phone and wait for it to arrive at your doorstep, right?
Recently, Ha-inan sent over some of their bestsellers for me to try at home. For starters, I got the Sariwang Lumpia ni Maria (Php 48/pc; for deliveries, minimum of 5pcs per order).
For some reason, It's been difficult to find good sariwang lumpia in my area, so the fact that Ha-inan has it and that they deliver, makes me really happy. I initially wanted to wait for my family to get home before digging in, but I couldn't resist and immediately finished an entire piece. Whoops.
Next on my list was their MaSisig (small - Php 170; large - Php 320). I was surprised at how creamy this tasted. I thought it'd be soggy and oily (since it had to travel from Mandaluyong to my house), but it wasn't. I definitely enjoyed the MaSisig, and I'm sure you will too.. especially with lots of rice!
For merienda, my mom and I had the Empanaditas which comes in three flavors - beef taco, pizza pie, and creamy chicken. I only had one of these since I was still pretty full from lunch, but this one's pretty affordable at Php 60 for six pieces (or Php 10 each).
After browsing through Ha-inan's menu and prices, I honestly believe it's a great choice if you're looking to bring something to a potluck, having an office party, or anything of the sort. The dishes they have here are Filipino classics that are not only reasonably priced, but tastes great, too. For example, their chicken lollipops are at Php 24 per piece; a large order of lechon kawali (good for 8-10 pax) is only Php 720.
Aside from that, they also have different kinds of pancit on their menu - Bihon Guisado, Canton Guisado, Pancit Malabon, Pancit Malabon Negra, and Spaghetti with Meatballs. Their Pancit Malabon Negra is their leveled up version of their pancit malabon (it tasted more like squid ink carbonara for me), so if you're looking to try something new, I suggest ordering that.
