Zomato: Order Food Online!

Probably didn't even know they delivered, eh? Well, now you do! The process is actually pretty simple, but I decided I'd create this instructional blog post for y'all anyways. :P

Hey guys! So first thing that you need to do is to head over to zomato.com which will redirect you to zomato.com/manila (or you know, you could just type the latter haha) then click the Order Food Online button located on the upper right part of the page.

It will then ask you for your delivery location which you can type in manually on the box provided.
Or you can just click the Detect button and let your device do the work for you.
Once you click the Find Food button, it will lead you to a page with a list of restaurants that delivers to your area.
At first, I picked Ta Ke Ho Me because I was craving for some maki rolls, but they rejected my order!! The automated text message said that they were about to close, but it was only 3pm at the time, so I don't know!?!?!?

Anyway, I ended up ordering from Pi Breakfast & Pies instead.
Zomato Delivery is really easy to navigate. As you can see from the screenshots I took, you basically have to add whatever dish you want to get, and it will appear on the right column with the total amount. Zomato even divided the menu into parts (on the left), so you can quickly jump to whichever category you want to order from.

I got two dishes, the Wagyu Sirloin Tapa which I've already tried before (it's actually my favorite at Pi Breakfast & Pies) and the Bacon Mac and Cheese for my sister. Once your order is complete, click Continue.
You'll then have to enter some personal details like your name and contact number, payment method, and promo code (if any). On the right, you'll see your order summary with an additional delivery fee of 12% of the total amount. Click Pay Cash on Delivery.
Next, you have to enter your complete delivery address and any additional instructions you may have (like nearby landmarks) that can help them find your exact location. Choose one of the three options (Home, Work, Other) then click Save.
In just a few seconds, you will receive a verification code through the contact number you entered, type it in and click Submit.
You will arrive at the Order Status page where you can see the status of your order (duh).
What's so great about Zomato is that you not only get a text update, but the page actually reloads on its own to update the order status! Amazing!!

If you can see from the screenshot, it says that my order will reach me by 4:01pm (I sent in the order at 2:46pm).
But guess what, my order arrived 20 minutes early! I was so happy because I haven't had lunch yet!
Thank you so much, Kuya, for the fast delivery (and it was still warm ha!)
