Last week, I took part in Zomato's first ever Food Run and our first stop? Shrimp Bucket in BGC!
When I received the invite for this event, I was psyched! Shrimp Bucket was the first restaurant my family got to try at UP Town Center years ago, and we really, really enjoyed their dishes, especially their bags by the pound with Mardi Gras and Salty Eggsperience sauces (their bestsellers)!
Shrimp Bucket offers American dishes with an Asian feel. What not a lot of people know about them is that their seafood is delivered fresh every single day for all of their branches. They currently have five stores - BGC, Tomas Morato, UP Town Center, Greenhills, and most recently, Solenad 3.
For the Food Run, we had one of their appetizers, the Deep Fried Shrimps with Salty Egg and Roe.
To be honest, I didn't expect a whole lot from it since it was just a starter. But wow, with or without the lemon and salt and pepper on the side, it is already good. I like the way that it was seasoned - slightly salty. Just squeeze some lemon over it, and you're good to go!
