Ended up at Ninak after having lunch in Tagaytay, shopping at Go Girl! Expo in Rockwell, and dropping by the Garden Party at Zenutrients a few Sundays back
Glad we picked this restaurant out of all the restaurants in Kapitolyo; it was great to be able to end the eventful day we had with warm soup and comfort food.
Since there were only two of us, we only ordered two dishes: the Laksa (P320)
traditional Malaysian coconut curry soup, with squid balls, chicken fillet, shrimps, boiled egg, rice noodles and tofu, garnished with bean sprouts and cilantro

and the Chicken BBQ with Ninak Sauce (P270)
Ninak's famous grilled chicken barbecue served with Ninak sauce and singkamas relish

I'd totally recommend both dishes to anyone who wants to try Ninak. Their chicken barbecue was tender, I just wish the dipping sauce had more flavor - the chicken still tastes great even without it though. Their laksa caught me off guard because I'm so used to laksa being spicy, and theirs just wasn't. That's not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you're not into spicy food... at least I wasn't sweating or wiping my nose halfway through the meal. :P
I hope I could visit with more friends next time so I can try more of their offerings. ;)
Ninak is located at Unit 101 Seven East Capitol Building, E Capitol Dr, Pasig, Metro Manila
