Sip and Gogh, Century City Mall

A different kind of anniversary date!

Tim and I recently celebrated our third year together. We were supposed to have dinner at Blackbird, but traffic was SO CRAZY that day, so much so that we spent 30 minutes stuck on J.P. Rizal. We were already an hour late for our reservation, so we decided to let it go and make a right on Makati Avenue instead. We ended up at Essential goodness, for the pilgrims located on the 13th floor of Lub d Makati. I ordered the Japanese Wagyu Hambagu Curry while Tim got the Wagyu Patty Melt - both of which cost us only Php 865. I'm a firm believer that dates don't have to be expensive, what's important is that you guys are spending time and making new memories together.
Anyway, onto the painting date. We didn't actually plan on going to Sip and Gogh. We were already in the car on our way to Glorietta when I remembered that Sip and Gogh has a branch in Century City Mall. It's been a while since our last painting sesh, so I thought it'd be fun to do it again now that we're engaged! We can even hang our creations in our future home and remember how we celebrated our third anniversary.

Beer for him, red wine for me.
I highly recommend Sip and Gogh for special occasions, anniversaries, and memorable first dates. I already wrote about them before (three years ago, to be exact) so feel free to read about it here. As I mentioned there, don't worry if you don't have any prior experience with painting because they have instructors who will guide you step-by-step in creating your own masterpiece which you can, of course, take home at the end of the session.

If you want to get to know your date, then I would suggest saving Sip and Gogh for next time instead. Tim and I were so engrossed with painting that we didn't really get to talk all that much. As in hindi niya ako pinapansin hahaha!

Here's my finished work:

Side by side with Sip and Gogh's version. Okay ba?

I can't wait to hang this on my wall!!! :)

I actually finished earlier than Tim since his painting required more details.. As you can see, super serious niya :P

Finally done after two hours! Haha!

Happy anniversary, bb!! :)
