That's why Mike and I are always on the hunt for budget-friendly places with great food - much like the restaurant I'm featuring today! So if you're on a budget like us, here's a place you should definitely visit: Empire Steak! 

We tried their bestseller, the King Kong Steak, which has "everything on it," as Chef Conrad puts it. Eggs, vegetables, mushrooms, onions, potato chips and two US rib eye steaks for only P499!! Swak na sa budget, may natira pa for dessert!

The Fault in Our Stars

I just got home from watching TFIOS with Mike. I waited months for this and I'm so happy it did not disappoint! I seldom get excited over a movie, so I made him promise to watch it with me on the first day. Wooot! :)
