Althea Korea Haul #1

I think I went a little overboard..?

After receiving my first package from Althea, I went on their site to purchase even more products, and I haven't even tried the ones I got yet! Help meeee, I think I'm addicted! Haha!

For those who don't know, Althea Korea is the no. 1 online destination for all things K-beauty. Here, you'll find products from major brands like Laneige, Etude House, Klairs, Banila Co., COSRX, Skin Food, Tony Moly, and so much more. What's so great about this site is it makes everything within reach, so even brands that don't have stores here in Manila can be acquired with just a click of a button. I know that prior to the opening of Innisfree's store in SM Mall of Asia, people have been purchasing their products from Althea or from online stores that resell them at huge markups. So diba, why buy anywhere else when Althea has all of these K-beauty brands in one place?

Here's what I got:

Real Big Yogurt Mask Sheet (Strawberry and Blueberry) from A'pieu

Got these for Php 40 each. I thought, since I'm getting married soon, I really have to take better care of my skin. It's cheaper than the masks you find in malls, though I've yet to try it, so I'll have to get back to you regarding its effects on my skin.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Grapefruit (P740)

I've always had dry lips; I think it's because I have this habit of licking my lips which apparently makes it dry out and chapped (it's why I always bring a lip balm with me). I've read really great reviews with this one and saw that it could last months, so I figured it was a good investment.

Made with a "Berry Mix Complex" and "Moisture Wrap" technology, this lip treatment transforms dry, dull chapped lips into a smooth, supple, kissable pout in the morning. Take your pick of fragrances: classic Vanilla, zesty Grapefruit, sweet Berry or fresh Apple Lime. I actually wanted to get it in Sweet Berry but it was out of stock at the time.

Next is this Argan Glow Hair Oil from CFC Lab, currently on sale for Php 520 (original price is Php 1,360)!
Since going through all that coloring and bleaching, my hair has become extra dry, even after numerous treatments over the past few months. So I though I'd give this Argan Glow Hair Oil a go. Argan oil is supposed to promote hair growth for healthy, thick hair. It also has sunflower oil for keeping the hair moisturized and carrot seed oil to hydrate dry scalp. Let's hope this one works for me?

Nourish your strands and give them a lot of TLC with this Argan Glow Hair Oil. With damage repairing argan oil as its star ingredient, this moisturizing oil gently coats the hair without weighing it down, giving your locks the hydration it needs without feeling heavy or greasy. It's also made with carrot seed oil, sunflower oil, and sclerocarya birrea seed oil to give it antioxidants and smoothing properties. It helps with dryness, fragile ends and keeps your hair silky and shiny too! Did we mention it also comes with a delightful citrus fragrance?

Banchic Oil Control Powder Mist (P410) from Torriden
As I mentioned in my previous post, I avoid using powders on my face since I have combination skin and it makes certain parts of my face dry. But sometimes, you really have to use products to lessen the oil on your face and that's what I'm hoping to resolve with this Oil Control Powder Mist. It's small, but hopefully one spritz is enough at a time.

According to the website, Banchic Mist is a powder mist that effectively and easily mattifies the skin. It doesn't wipe away all the good, protective oils. Instead, it leaves the skin feeling fresh and soft. I've actually used a similar product before - it's not a "powder mist" but more of a refreshing mist to wake the skin up. Let's see how different the two are and which one actually works for me in the next couple of days.
