Trying out Paradise Dynasty's newest dishes at the Podium Mall!
For those who don't know, I love, love, love Paradise Dynasty. It's my go-to restaurant whenever I'm in SM MOA/Conrad/S Maison. I've visited their second branch at The Podium a couple of times already and if you've been to Paradise Dynasty before, you'll know they have a ton of dishes on their menu. Just recently, they came out with even more stuff and I was one of the lucky few who got to try them first!

First up, we have the Fried Duck! Perfectly marinated duck with white peppercorns and Sichuan pepper carefully fried to ensure its crispy texture. To be honest, I didn't expect so much from this since it didn't look as appetizing compared to Paradise Dynasty's other dishes.

But after shredding the duck and putting all the elements together in a bun, it turned out to be really delicious! This one's definitely going to be a staple in many, many dinners to come.

Next, we had two dishes sharing one main ingredient - grouper.
The Grouper with Pine Nuts & Fruits was meticulously fried to achieve its golden color then topped with a special sauce and grilled pine nuts.

While the Grilled Grouper with Tofu in Mapo Tofu Style was smothered in tender tofu and cooked in a spicy and aromatic sauce. Between the two, I enjoyed this one more and it really reminded me of Paradise Dynasty's style of cooking. I think the first one had a more common taste to it, so it was just okay for me.

Last but not the least is the Shanghai-Style Braised Pork Belly which is a very famous dish in China where the pork belly is glazed with special sauces. It's really all in the sauce with this one, but I also commend the kitchen for making the meat super tender. Definitely my favorite new dish!

Of course, you can't visit Paradise Dynasty without ordering their famous Xiao Long Bao, Lettuce Roll with Homemade Sesame Sauce, and Charcoal Custard Lava Bun!
