Just another visit to paradise :)
FINALLY POSTING THIS BECAUSE BORACAY IS OPENING IN A FEW DAYS!! :)

It's been years since I've last been to Boracay, so I'm glad to have been able to fly to the island again, this time, with Tim. Once we arrived in Kalibo, we booked transfers to Caticlan via Southwest Tours. We availed their Door to Door transfers which means they'll pick us up at the airport and drop us off directly at our resort.
The inclusions: Land transfer from Kalibo Airport to Caticlan Jetty Port, Boat transfer from Caticlan Jetty Port to Cagban Port, Land transfer from Cagban Port to Hotel/Resort in Boracay or vice versa. Roundtrip door to door transfers from Kalibo Airport costs P1,375 per person - this already includes the terminal and environmental fees. If booking online, you'd have to pay an additional 5% for web admin fees. P.S. I'm not sure if rates are still the same since this trip was taken months ago. Please check their website for current rates :)

My shiny face says hello!
Off to find something to eat!
Our first stop? Aria Cucina Italiana. We ordered their Pollo alla Diavola which has fresh cherry tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella topped with grilled chunks of spicy chicken with a hint of chili. Tim likes spicy food a lot, so this was a good choice.
The heat in Boracay is so different from before. It's crazy humid there now, so if you want the beach all to yourself, head over around lunch time or early afternoon where everyone is hibernating or cooling off inside random restaurants. Haha.
Eventually, Tim and I ended up at Cha Cha's Beach Cafe for some drinks and a light snack.
We availed Cha Cha's Happy Hour promos from 3pm-8pm:
BUY 1 TAKE 1 on Margaritas and Cuba Libre Slushies + Beer Bucket Specials
We ended up staying there for a while to watch the sun set.
That sums up our first day in Boracay!
