An afternoon with Jcuppacakes!
Last month, J.Cuppacakes invited bloggers for an afternoon of baking and cupcake-decorating at their SM Jazz Mall branch. Since they had announced prior to the event that they will be giving out prizes, people got competitive real quick! There were three categories: Best Cupcake Selfie, Best Flatlay, and Best Decorated Cupcake.
Though I was feeling a bit under the weather at the time (allergies, I hate you!) I didn’t let that stop me from participating. Especially since I really enjoy baking, and I’ve always wanted to try my hand at making my own frosting!
More people arrived than anticipated, which made it more difficult to gather ingredients and find the materials we needed, but overall, it was still pretty fun, especially since I got to bond with Jen and Princess. None of us really had any experience when it came to baking, but we made do. And we were really proud of the results.
Cute, right? Someone from Facebook (and another person from Instagram) told us that our cupcakes look like Magnolia Bakery’s! Oh diba!! So kilig! :P
We didn’t win, but the fact that we were able to successfully bake delicious and sellable cupcakes made us winners in our books. Naks :P
The next time you’re looking for cupcakes, cakes, or dessert buffets for your party, check out J.Cuppacakes at SM Jazz Residences and Eastwood Citywalk 1!
Thanks for the fun afternoon, J.Cuppacakes! ;)
