7 Things to Do When in Cebu

Planning a trip to Cebu but don't know what to do? Here are some ideas for you! ;)

If you're like me and it's been a while since your last visit to the city, here are some places you should visit:

1. Go to Temple of Leah
Dubbed as Cebu's Taj Mahal, the Temple of Leah was built in 2012 as a symbol for the undying love and devotion of Teodorico Soriano Adarna to his wife Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. People mostly come here to enjoy the view and take photos of its Greek architecture.

bai Hotel is a contemporary chic business hotel located about thirty minutes away from Mactan-Cebu International Airport. I stayed there on my last visit to Cebu and had a great time, especially by the pool! Read about my bai Hotel experience here.

3. Eat at the Original Lechon Belly
When in Cebu, you HAVE to have some lechon belly! We're lucky that Cebu's Original Lechon Belly has a branch just across bai Hotel so we were able to get our lechon fix! Get it in original or spicy and a whole lot of rice! ;)

4. Party at Oqtagon
If you're looking to dance your hearts out, head over to Oqtagon! It's the newest, hippest club in Cebu! Though it kind of felt more like a Korean club since most of the folks I saw there are Korean. Hehe. Not that it matters, really. I mean I went there with friends and still had a bunch of fun. So yeah.

Enjoy their Steak, Baby Back Ribs, and Squid All-You-Can promo until May 31, 2018. Comes with soup of the day and one side dish of your choice. Available on Tuesdays to Sundays for Lunch and Dinner at Php 1,499 nett per person. For reservations, please call 888-25-00. Read about my visit to Marble + Grain Steakhouse here.

Now if waterparks are your thing, may I suggest visiting Jpark Resort and Waterpark? It's a five-star resort that features 5 swimming pools, 3 water slides, and a private beach! They also have a bunch of activities you can do - Go Kart, Giant Chess, Mini Golf, and more. Check out my review on Jpark here.

7. Dine at The Pyramid
Ever dreamt of visiting the Louvre in Paris? Cebu's The Pyramid looks a lot like it! Though take note: it's not really a place where you can find art. It's more of a casual restaurant that serves dishes like pasta, pizza, burgers and even Filipino favorites like crispy pata! Take a selfie or two or better yet, bring your SO here for a romantic date. ;)
