Here's where you should stay on your next visit to the city!
It's been a while since my last trip to Cebu - eight years, in fact. That's crazy. I can't believe how fast time seems to fly by the last couple of years! I mean, Cebu's only an hour away from Manila and it took me eight long years to go back and explore more of it.
Last February, I got to fly to Cebu and stay at one of the newest hotels there - bai Hotel!
bai Hotel is a contemporary chic business hotel located about thirty minutes away from Mactan-Cebu International Airport. We arrived there just in time for lunch at Café bai, their all-day buffet dining offering a huge selection of Asian and Western dishes.
I honestly didn't know where to start. There were just so many dishes to choose from! But as with everything, you gotta start somewhere, so I did and by the time we were finished, I was stuffed. After lunch, we checked into our rooms to freshen up and get ready for the long day ahead.
bai Hotel has a total of 668 guest rooms ranging from Deluxe Twin, Deluxe Suite, Premiere Twin, Premiere Suite, Executive, and Executive One-Bedroom Suite. It also houses eight restaurants namely Wallstreet Coffee + Bar, Lobby Lounge, UME Japanese Cuisine, Marble + Grain Steakhouse, Cafe bai, Pool Bar, Executive Club Lounge, and Twilight Roofdeck Lounge + Bar.

The Deluxe Twin Bed Room
Jen and I shared a Deluxe Twin Bed room situated on the 9th floor of bai Hotel. It was too bad that we were only staying there for one night since our beds were really cozy and comfortable. Each room is equipped with basic toiletries, a mini fridge, an electronic safe, electric iron and ironing board, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), emergency kit, umbrellas, smoke detectors, and sprinkler systems (very important!)
While some folks decided to swim, I took the opportunity to look around the hotel. Unfortunately I didn't get to check out all its restaurants and facilities - like the fitness center and the spa - since we only had a night at bai and we still wanted to squeeze in time to visit some cool spots around the area (will make a separate post on that). But here are the areas I did get to see:

The following morning, Jen and I woke up early for breakfast, but decided we couldn't leave the comforts of our room just yet. We first took our morning coffee (well, tea for me) before finally heading out to Café bai.

Once breakfast was done, it was time to hit the pool! We actually checked out the pool the day before but we couldn't squeeze it in our itinerary, so we thought we'd just make our final day at bai Hotel our chill day.

We ended our stay at bai Hotel with an amazing lunch at Marble + Grain, a stylish and upscale steakhouse serving the finest custom-aged USDA prime beef and an amazing wine selection. At the time, they were having a steak-all-you-can promo (with appetizers) for only Php 999+!
