If you're looking to spend a romantic evening at S Maison, I've got just the place for you!
Welcome to Epilogue, a Japanese-European fine bistro located at the ground floor of S Maison.
It is a 136-seater space that is stylish and sophisticated - perfect for any intimate dinner!
How beautiful is that geometric tiled wall, guys? With the brick walls on the side and the tables with candles on them! These are things you normally wouldn't think would work, but they do! ♥
They have a lovely neon-lit bar, too, that adds to the romantic ambience of the place.
Now for the food! Epilogue offers a full-course meal in their menu - from the Preface (soups and salads), Introduction (appetizers), Half Title (tapas), Title Page (sandwiches), Dedication (pasta), Foreword (pizza), Chapter and Verse (mains), down to the Afterword (desserts). To create their menu, they have enlisted the expertise of four Japanese chefs, Chef Hayato Mitsuhashi, Chef Minoru Sorimachi, Chef Kenji Ishihara, and Chef Tomohide Ono, who are each known to be masters of their craft. Overall, my Epilogue experience is one for the books! I thought the prices were reasonable considering the dishes and the ingredients used in each. What stood out for me the most are the pizzas (both Wagyu and Margherita because of how cheesy, tomatoey, and meaty they were; they definitely did not skimp on the ingredients), the Maestro (steak with seared foie gras), Foie's Gold (foie gras with mushroom risotto), and of course, the Cocoon (white chocolate and Italian gelato = love!)
I wish I got to enjoy all these with Tim, but oh well, there's always a next time.
Epilogue is located at the ground floor of S Maison, Conrad Manila, Seaside Boulevard corner Coral Way, Mall of Asia Complex (MOA), Pasay City.
