Ibiza Beach Club takes your dining experience to the next level with its 1,000-seater flagship restaurant in Bonifacio Global City!
My friends and I welcomed Cebu's most hip and happening dining and entertainment as it brings its signature energy and vibe to Manila’s hottest business and lifestyle district! We just had to see the huge 1,000-seater property with our own eyes, and of course, try out their signature 15-course Balearic Grill!
Ibiza Beach Club is a brand unique to the Philippines, a registered trademark conceived and established by award-winning vintner, entrepreneur, and prominent tourism player, Manny O., chairman of the Manny O. Group. The first and original Ibiza Beach Club opened at the Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu; now making waves globally as it branches out in different premier locations, starting with the PHP 300 million property in Manila, right in the heart of BGC.
The 4,000-sqm Ibiza BGC is situated at the 6th level of the new W City Centre, a massive 29-storey office tower sitting on half a hectare property, strategically located along 7th Avenue, right next to Bonifacio High Street. Within walking distance to the high-end Central Plaza Mall, the new Shangri-La at the Fort, residential towers, hotels, parks and shopping areas. Aside from its signature DNA and spectacular view of the landscaped greenery and Manila cityscape, Ibiza BGC also takes its charm from its sophisticated and stylised sections, complete with water features surrounding plush seats, enticing lounges, exceptional Centre Stage and the First Class dining section. What is dubbed as the Ferrari of sound equipment in the industry, Ibiza BGC is powered by D & B Audiotechnik.
Combining the elements of ambience and music, entertainment and dining, this establishment is set to impress and delight; Ibiza Beach Club delivers the total lifestyle dining experience.
Ibiza's Balearic-inspired, signature 15-course grill is like nothing I've ever tried before! For Php 2,500, you get a variety of grilled meat and seafood, along with your choice of Caesar Salad or the Salad Bar.
Ladies and gentlemen, presenting the Churrasco buffet!
Seafood:
Squid | Parrot Fish | Jumbo Prawns
Meat:
Chicken Thigh | Baby Back Ribs | Beef Ribs
We were provided a couple of plated dishes for photo purposes, but this is really how the food is really served:
Chicken Thigh
Juicy and tender! I kept asking for more of this - definitely a favorite!
Parrot Fish & Jumbo Prawns
Both grilled just right, but in the end, I still preferred dipping them in the various sauces (hummus, tzatziki, lemon aioli, and pesto sauce) to add flavor.
Fillet Mignon
Another easy favorite! U.S. Angus Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon! What's not to like?
Lamb Chops from New Zealand
Not a huge fan of lamb, but I though this one was presented and grilled perfectly. Perfect with some mint to lessen the aftertaste.
Salmon
Just add a squeeze of lemon juice and you're all set!
U.S. Angus Ribeye
Ribeye - always a favorite at buffets, and this one is no exception.
Ostrich
I tried this and I thought it tasted like beef. Though normally, I'd like my meat cooked a bit more.
Leg of Lamb & Squid
The leg of lamb and squid both had good flavors to it that I didn't find myself looking for any sauces to go with them.
Pork Belly
Just like your regular lechon kawali.
Queen Pineapple
I've never had pineapple that tasted as good as this! I only started liking pineapple recently, and the fact that this one was served with sugar and cinnamon made me like the fruit more.
Our group also got a taste of Mövenpick Ice Cream which comes at Php 350 per scoop!
Why is it so expensive, you ask? Well, because it's flown all the way from Switzerland exclusively for Ibiza Beach Club! My favorite? The Caramelita with chunks of caramel!
Now, will I recommend Ibiza Beach Club to my friends? Is it 15-course Balearic Grill worth it? Most definitely!! But if you are on a budget, they do have ala carte options available as well as lunch sets for only Php 1,000!
Ibiza Beach Club BGC is located on the 6th Floor of W City Centre, 7th Avenue cor 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
