Another solo staycation, this time, at Novotel Manila Araneta Center!
I spent most of the recent long weekend at Novotel Manila Araneta Center. Alone in my room, sure, but I didn't mind one bit. In fact, I loved every second of the time I spent in my cozy Twin Room!
Here's a quick room tour so you know what to expect on your visit to Novotel!
The room comes with two single beds, a working area, flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and free WiFi access.
The beds are placed close together so it actually kind of feels like it's one huge bed. Well, at least that's how I used it since I was sleeping alone anyway.
I watched television while working on the blog during the afternoon. Don't you just love how the sun shines through the sheer curtains?
The best part - free cookies and fresh fruits! Thanks, Novotel! :)
A lot of people are actually very particular when it comes to bathrooms in hotels. Well, you'll be happy to know that Novotel has both hand and rain shower facilities here. The shower is actually separated from the bedroom area by a glass wall - but even though I was alone, I found it kind of weird to shower with all that open space around, so I decided to put down the automated blinds for some privacy.
Other room facilities: Minibar, Safety Deposit Box, Telephone, Hairdryer, Radio, Desk, and Electric kettle :)
I love how Novotel supports fair trade and how they actually have their own farm for producing fresh and organic produce for the guests (which you can read more about here).
The beds were extremely cozy. I wanted so badly to sleep, but I had work to do, so yeah. It looks so inviting though...
My room came with a great view of the pool too!
You can read more about Novotel's outlets in my other posts - Food Exchange Manila, Ice N Cream, The 6th Pool Lounge & Bar, and Recently at Novotel Manila.
As I mentioned in my other post, I woke up pretty late for breakfast since we swam (fully clothed, I might add) until midnight the night before. It was really fun though and made for really great memories at Freedom Fridays! Anyway, here are some of the stuff I was able to catch at the breakfast buffet at Food Exchange Manila. Since it was a long weekend, the hotel was completely booked. I think I went down around 9am, so there was already a line for breakfast. It's something to be expected, so I do recommend you wake up early and make the most out of your stay.
Until next time, Novotel! :)
