One Monday evening, I headed to Qups Quarters Cafe to cool down and unwind after a long day at work. I'm so happy that this place exists; it is a quiet and spacious cafe - the kind that I seldom see nowadays.
I've noticed that coffee shops like Starbucks and Coffee Bean are almost always full, especially during the Christmas season where everyone is trying to collect stickers/stamps for the elusive planners.
Qups is nothing like that. It feels like you're just at home, minus the distractions. Everyone was either studying or working on their laptops, I almost didn't want to speak, afraid I might make too much noise and disturb the other people there.
Qups has a wide range of drinks available on its menu - hot, iced, matcha, smoothies, hot chocolate, and other blended drinks.
Hot Matcha Latte, anyone?
I ordered their English Toffee blended drink, which is a mix of espresso, milk, and English toffee syrup.
I highly recommend it for those who love sweet drinks like me. They also have flavored latte drinks like Hazelnut, Almond Roca, Irish Cream, and Cheesecake.
For the food, they currently only offer ten dishes on their menu. Unlike other coffee shops, Qups chooses to stick with very simple, straightforward dishes.
For example, they only offer two kinds of rice dishes - Spam Rice and Sunny Hungarian. Don't these remind you of meals you actually like having at home?

They also have a couple of pasta dishes on their menu namely the Spicy Tuna, Bolognese, Carbonara, and Chicken Tomato.

If you're looking for a quick snack, their sandwiches are a must-try. It comes in four kinds: Chicken, Corned Beef, Tuna, and Cheesy Frankfurt.
