Bring home a piece of New York with Lower East Side Bagels!
Spent a good part of my morning at L.E.S. Bagels' newest branch in Podium a few weeks back
We sampled different kinds of bagels - pretty much everything you see below!
It was amazingggg. Pair them with your choice of cream cheese, and you're all set.
Yes, that is, in fact, cream cheese and not gelato.
Each bagel costs PHP 40 to PHP 100 depending on the type, but what really stood out for me were the cream cheese flavors!

Like, for example, this one. This here's the blueberry, which turned out to be one of the favorites for the day.
I'm glad they sliced up the bagels into small pieces so we can try everything without getting too full too fast. I honestly wouldn't have been able to pick one just by looking at them because everything looks so good!!
So yeah, I'd definitely recommend bringing some friends to split your bagels with.
Or you know, just be a lone bagel. I'm sure whatever you pick will taste good. Just don't forget the cream cheese!
You can try out different combinations, or you can just ask the staff for their recommended pairings. ;)
Personally, I like my bagel pairing with another item, coffee! L.E.S. Bagels serves coffee from Yardstick Coffee. Hot and cold brews are available, so you can have your coffee anytime of the day without worrying about the heat.
Here are my top three cream cheese recos: Garlic and Chives, Sundried Tomato Basil, and JalapeƱo Cheddar for that extra kick.
As for the bagels, I really liked the Cinnamon Raisin and Everything (black sesame seeds + normal sesame seeds).
L.E.S. Bagels also has a number of pastry offerings. We got to try four of them: the Oatmeal Maple Cream Cookie, Homemade Oreos, Raspberry Cheesecake Brownie, and Fudge Brownie.
The Homemade Oreo was definitely a crowd favorite at PHP 40 each, but what I really loved was the Raspberry Cheesecake Brownie. The Fudge Brownie was more on the sweet side, but it's exactly the kind of brownie I love to bake.
