Toast for dinner, anyone?
Tim and I had a quick dinner at Toast Box in Trinoma a few weeks back. I ordered the Blueberry Cream Cheese Toast Set (P155) which includes hot milk tea or coffee, and half-boiled eggs. I'm not sure if that's the correct term for the eggs, but the way to eat it is to create a hole and slowly sip the egg out. We weren't really sure how to eat it at first, but it was really yummy. It just took a while to be served.
I loved the toast! I wish they melted the cream cheese or at least spread it a bit and not just placed the entire slice on the middle of the toast. The combination of blueberry and cream cheese is a definite winner though.
Hainanese Chicken Quarter Portion (P259)
I honestly didn't bother trying this, because I don't like Hainanese chicken, period. Tim finished it pretty quickly though, so I guess that's a good sign. Haha!
Nonya Laksa (P235)
I was left to finish the laksa since Tim was already too full from the chicken. To be honest, I've had better, but this one wasn't bad, especially for its price. It wasn't too spicy, so I didn't have to drink water every time I took a sip of the broth (Yes, that's a factor :P)
I would definitely come back for more toast - whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
Toast Box is located at the ground floor of TriNoma Mall, Quezon City.
