Star Cruises SuperStar Virgo: Last Night on the High Seas

Star Cruises SuperStar Virgo
Here it is - my third and final post on my SuperStar Virgo experience this March 2018!

Our sea-cation was short and sweet. Sure, we didn't get to dock in Japan or Taiwan, but over the course of that weekend, we really got to see and enjoy all that SuperStar Virgo has to offer to its guests.

Come to think of it, they offered their two-night High Seas Cruise at such a low rate! If I'm not mistaken, I believe the cheapest room was priced at Php 12,000 per person (with their Buy One Get One promo, it comes out only Php 6,000 each! Crazy, right?) If I had known about this earlier, I would've brought my family along! I mean, the entire trip is more affordable than one night at a fancy hotel! And that's already inclusive of food, nightly shows, and free use of most of the facilities! Not bad at all! I really hope they offer something like this again in the future.

In the meantime, let me share with you what happened on our last night on the high seas with SuperStar Virgo!

If you remember earlier that day, we had breakfast at Lido, met the Captain at the bridge, tried their Chinese restaurant Pavilion, and toured around the entire ship! If you want to read more about that, check out A Day on the High Seas

We were given the rest of the afternoon to do as we pleased, so what did we do? We spent it walking around and taking a bunch more photos for the 'gram! Work first, play later. Haha!

But seriously, it's always fun with these guys. We eventually ended up at the Parthenon Pool, because Richie made us promise to try the slide together. And that, we did. A couple of times, in fact.

I had a blast at the pool, despite not knowing how to swim. I pretty much just clung onto the side rails the entire time, but there were lots of laughs shared during that time, so it was awesome.

BBQ Party by the Pool
At 5:30pm, the BBQ party by the pool started. The food looked really great, unfortunately, our dinner at Star Dining was scheduled for 6pm, so we couldn't really enjoy it (I only had a few bites). This is one of those special events that's free for all guests, so prepare to eat your hearts out onboard SuperStar Virgo!

Star Dining Room
For dinner, we all met up at Star Dining Room where we got to enjoy a fancy four-course meal. The appetizer and soup were pre-selected, but for the main course, we were given the choice of chicken, fish, or vegetables. For dessert, it was either a Blueberry Panna Cotta or their ice cream of the day, Matcha.

Mystical Land
Our last show at the Zodiac Theatre was Mystical Land - an acrobat show. It was spectacular on so many different levels. I loved that it wasn't just about the tricks, but it also had a story to it. Kids and kids at heart would definitely enjoy this!

After the show, we were supposed to have supper at The Lido, but Cess and I got caught up with our in-room Sudoku tournament. Hahaha! We both really wanted to finish the challenge, but it was too difficult!! I think I slept around 2am because of it haha! I only had three hours of sleep until it was time for our last meal before disembarking.
