My first tape project! :D (hopefully not the last)
I was looking for an online store to buy washi tapes from when I remembered that my mom had some fabric tapes (from a random purchase some time ago) . I figured I’d try it out on my phone charger first before investing on washi tapes. Wheee, so cute! :)
3. Washi tape from Hey Kessy | I’ll probably go crazy and decorate everything in my room with these. :P Here are some of my favorites (P75 each): Diagonal Marshmallow and Hearts All Around (found here), Little Dandelions, Rose Notebook and Thursday Bloom (in photo, also found here).
Posting this because 1. I’m bored. 2. I’m too lazy to edit/think of anything else to post. 3. I’m considering changing my hair again, short hair? Color? Maybe a perm? Not really sure yet, but will probably surprise everyone with a new look soon. :)
Heading off to bed now ‘cause I have a long day tomorrow. Good night :)
For years now, I’ve kept this set of photos by Kalle Gustafsson on my computer as inspiration. I want to someday be able to create a wonderful story without the use of words, and to be able to inspire people with it - much like this one.
If this doesn’t inspire you, then I don’t know what will.
During our two-week stay in Japan a few years back, mommy (my friend’s mom, but we all called her mommy) made hot chocolate for us everyday. :) “Good morning, Anak, gusto mo ng hot chocolate?” would be the first thing we would hear as we woke up from a good night’s sleep. Last December, mommy came to visit us here in the Philippines! Unfortunately, I only got to see her once.
I hope you know I love you, Mommy! Missing you and Japan so much! xo
I’ve been a big fan of Izzoshop ever since I stumbled on their page last year. I’ve purchased numerous items, from mini purses to dual pouch wristlets to big bags can fit a laptop!
There has never been a time where my fingers didn’t itch to buy something from their store. Seriously. They just have that perfect mix of uniqueness and functionality, which makes me keep coming back. Let’s not forget how affordable their products are as well.
So for this week’s Dream Day Friday, I am listing down these two gorgeous camera bags from Izzoshop - the Molly Camera Satchel and the Nikki Mini Camera Purse.
The Molly Camera Satchel (P850) is on my list because it can fit my Canon EOS 400D (plus my kit and 75-300mm lens), Canon SD1400 IS, and my Holga 135 / Fujifilm Instax Mini 8, plus it has an outside pocket where I can put my phone and wallet in, too! It’s the perfect bag to bring pretty much anywhere around the world! <3
The Nikki Mini Camera Purse (P395) is small enough to be an everyday bag and just the right size to fit in one of my smaller cameras when I go strolling on the beach. I honestly cannot choose between these two colors because they’re both so pretty *_*
Either of these two will make perfect companions on my trips in the months to come. I hope they don’t run out anytime soon.
Last February, I had a small envelope for my polaroids and a box from an 88-peso store to put all my Instax stuff in. Feeling bad for myself, I went on the computer to look up where I can buy photo albums… lo and behold, I found Polaroid PH. Back then, the albums I wanted were out of stock, but I didn’t give up. I still sent in an order form and just asked them to reserve two albums for me once new stocks arrived.
After two months of texting and checking the site for updates, it finally said IN STOCK. I went crazy. I immediately texted Polaroid PH, ordered the albums I wanted, paid for them on the same day just so I can receive them the day after. I just couldn’t wait for Monday, you know? :P
So yeah. Here they are. My Colorful Daydream Instax Mini Photo Albums in Lavender and Hot Pink.
Aren’t they pretty? :> Right after taking photos of the albums, I took more photos - after adding in my polaroids, of course. :)
The albums also came with their own sets of stickers (which I forgot to take pictures of, so sorry). But seriously, the albums are perfect!! I actually regret getting just two; they had three colors in stock (Hot Pink, Lavender and Yellow), but since I’ve only used 20 prints so far, I figured 144 slots - 72 per album - would be more than enough. Oh wait, that’s not counting the extra slot in front of the album!! So 73 slots per album for only P350! Now that’s value for your money. :)
P.S. It was my mom’s idea to put all the portrait photos in one album and the landscape ones in the other, just so it will be easier to look through them. Smart noh? Haha :)
Now, I guess I’m really gonna need more film if I’m going to fill these up ;) Already purchased two Twin Packs (40 exposures) via eBay - that, including the 30 exposures I have left, should be enough to last me until the end of the year. Hopefully. ;)
Starting this thing called Dream Day Friday to remind myself what I need to save up for. I often impulse buy, especially when I’m alone at the mall, so hopefully, this will be able to help me to control my spendings. It also doubles as a list of things I would like to get on my birthday. *hinthint*
First on my list: Fujifilm Instax Mini films. Although I intend on buying a couple of boxes the next few days, it doesn’t hurt to have some set aside for spontaneous events. The one with the white border would be ideal since it’s the cheapest, but I wouldn’t mind receiving themed ones (like Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse and Candy Pop) as well. :D When buying, please make sure that the expiry dates are at least 6 months away (just in case). :)
The ones in the photo were bought in Bangkok, along with my Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 (seen here) last January 2013.
P.S. Initially called it Wish List Friday, but decided that Dream Day Friday seems more fitting. If you have any suggestions though, please let me know. Anything better than Saving Up For Friday would be great! ;)
I realized that most of my recent posts have been lacking in the color department. So I decided to share this one today. This photo was taken in Japan last December 2011. If anyone can read what it says up on that ferris wheel, do let me know :)
OMG Summer, I know you’re supposed to be hot, but do you have to be this hot?? Even in an airconditioned room, it’s still very humid - the makes-you wish-you-had-less-clothing-or-none-at-all humid. I’m not joking.
I miss the cold weather in Japan. Can’t believe it’s been 15 months already. I wish to visit you again. I promise I will appreciate your Autumn-to-Winter weather a lot more next time.
Met up with our couple friends Dos and Edel last night for dinner. We had a night full of catching up and laughter - the boys have been friends since high school (they’re actually part of a bigger group and it’s crazy fun when they’re all together). And Edel, of course, is a sweetheart.
After dinner, we had dessert - Picole Healthy Ice Pops! :)
Top from Espirit, pants and necklace from Forever 21, bag from Nine West. (Don’t know why I’m posting this too LOL)
Photo stolen from Mike’s facebook, post processing by me.
So for the next couple of days, I’ve scheduled to meet up with some of my old colleagues and schoolmates! We have tons to catch up on, so it’s going to be a long, but definitely fun, couple of days :) I’m looking forward to it!
(I wish it were possible to meet up with my students too. Teehee. ;P)
.. are perfect for really hot days like today. I’d love to stay in with the AC blowing cool air the entire day, but I have to go do some errands in a few. At least the mall is air-conditioned, right? :) I’ll try to look for something ice cold for me and my mom while I’m at it.
