Good Good PH: More than Milk Tea

Not your regular milk tea joint!

These days, I’m trying to focus more on my health. I’ve already gained a couple of pounds since getting married last May and I’m really not proud of it. To be honest, I’ve been feeling tired and lazy too, and it’s not because of work or anything. For some reason, I’m just tired all the time.

So, more than watching what I eat, I’ve been trying to watch what I drink as well. This means laying off MILK TEA. I know my sugar intake has been pretty high lately, especially with all the sweet drinks (especially the brown sugar ones!!) popping up everywhere. For two months, I’ve successfully avoided them. Until the craving hit. Then I was back to square one.
Good thing I discovered Good Good. The brand began in Taiwan and now, it’s here in the Philippines. Their drinks aren’t limited to the usual wintermelon and brown sugar. Sure, they have those, but that’s not all they’re about. They cater a wider assortment of drinks - from fruit teas, hot teas, bubble milk tea, assorted teas with cream cheese, smoothies, and even juices.
What makes Good Good so great is that my favorites from their menu are their fruit-based drinks. To be honest, there are days that I crave for milk tea; but there are also days where I just want something other than water to drink. But because of social media, the first thing that comes to mind is milk tea.. when in reality, there are so many other, healthier options to choose from. That's where places like Good Good comes in.
One is the Berried Treasure smoothie which is a mix of strawberries and blueberries. And the other is the Green Grin juice that contains kiwi and coconut chunks.
Another drink I recommend is the Sunset Tea. This one’s all about passionfruit and oranges and yes, it’s all natural and freshly squeezed! It’s a healthy and refreshing treat for when you find yourself parched after a long day out.
And guess who my date was for the day? My mom!! Look how happy she is here with her smoothie! She kept sending photos of the different drinks to our family just to make them jealous haha!
Here's the Berried Treasure in all its glory:
