Discovered this new restaurant that's all about cheese in Eastwood, Libis!
Welcome to Tori Chizu, a place where you can find all kinds of baked rice with cheese and assorted toppings like chicken, fish, shrimp, beef, and more.
It's a heaven for cheese lovers and can I just say.. the price points are pretty good.
For starters, here's Tori Chizu's Original Teriyaki (P145).
It's a classic combination of chicken and sweet teriyaki sauce with melted mozzarella cheese and Tori Chizu's signature white sauce.
Chicken Chizu Curry (P145)
Curry has become a staple in Japanese restaurants, so it's only right that Tori Chizu offers it as well. But compared to the Chicken Teriyaki, this one has minced chicken rather than huge chunks of it, which lets you enjoy its curry flavor more.
Sesame Fish (P155)
The Sesame Fish turned out to be one of my favorites that afternoon. I really enjoyed the light, flaky fish fillet generously topped with cream sauce.
Spicy Tomato Shrimp (P155)
I honestly thought I'd like this more, but I didn't. I wasn't as spicy and tomato-y as I expected, and it had really small shrimps in it (I guess you get what you pay for). It's definitely not for someone who's looking to enjoy a lot of seafood, but expect to find as much cheese and rice in it as with the other dishes.
Kani Takoyaki (P155)
Another favorite. It's a lot like takoyaki - with bonito flakes, nori, and BBQ sauce - but instead of getting octopus, this one comes with crabsticks (kani). I highly enjoyed the different elements in this one.
Beef Yakiniku (P175)
The Beef Yakiniku is all about ground beef, lots of crunchy garlic, and a spoonful of butter in the middle of all that baked rice. I suggest mixing everything together so you can enjoy the flavors more.
Aside from these delicious doria offerings, you can also find things like their Umami Style Fried Chicken, Hambagu Sandwich, and Mazemen on their menu.

It's really, really milky and cheesy, and I highly recommend you try it the next time you find yourself at Eastwood Citywalk!
