Calling all meat lovers, Fat Daddy's Smokehouse is now open in UP Town Center!
If you're someone who loves eating meat, then you'll be glad to know that the Marikina favorite has opened its doors in Quezon City!
It was my first time at Fat Daddy's so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I just knew that we were going to be having a lot of meat that afternoon, so naturally, I skipped breakfast to save space for it. Haha!
First impressions upon seeing the menu is that it's definitely a place for big groups, barkadas in particular. They have a lot of bar chow like the Buttermilk Fried Livers, Onion Rings, Fried Chitlins (deep fried pork intestines), Hot Pork Poppers, and Crispy Fried Pickles.
Buttermilk Fried Livers (P210) - deep fried chicken livers
Crispy Fried Pickles (P185) - deep fried sliced dill pickles coasted in panko and corn crust
Hot Pork Poppers (P175) - thinly sliced pork belly deep-fried to perfection
My favorite? Jera's Ultimate Pulled Pork and Bacon Nachos! I couldn't stop eating it. Here, layers of bbq nachos are topped with smoked pulled pork, smoked bacon, salsa, jalapeños, and finally drizzled with Fat Daddy's homemade cheese sauce, bbq sauce, and Alabama bbq sauce.
Jera's Ultimate Pulled Pork and Bacon Nachos (half P330 / whole P600)
If that's not cheesy enough for you, try the Hot Mess! The layers of mashed potatoes topped with cheedar cheese, pulled pork, and bacon really hits the spot! I personally love anything with cheese, so this one also ranks high on my list! ;)

Now for the meats!
Fat Daddy's Smokehouse is the perfect place for meat lovers everywhere! I would've posted about this place sooner, but real life got in the way (I just got engaged! Hihi). Anyway, I'm really glad they opened in UP Town Center, because it's one of the malls that Tim and I frequent.
This Triple Death Burger (P440) is something that I'm absolutely certain he will enjoy.
I mean, who wouldn't want two quarter pound beef patties topped with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, cheddar cheese, bacon strips, AND deep fried pulled pork in between their sesame buns?! It is finished off with a generous serving of chipotle mayo and bbq, both of which go so well with the all the meat!
The dish that stood out for me the most is their Smoked Meat Platter, which is a combination of Fat Daddy's best selling meats. You get their Smoked Hot Links, Smoked Pulled Pork Shoulder, Smoked Beef Brisket, Smoked Chicken BBQ, Smoked Pork Ribs, Chiquito's Grilled Corn, Bacon and Chives Muffin, Sesame Coleslaw, and four servings of plain rice. All of this for Php 2,400.
Personally, I think it's a solid deal. You could come here and order just that and leave with a full tummy. I also love how Fat Daddy's gives us full reign on their homemade bbq sauces. You can mix it in anything and even purchase a bottle to take home! It's so good, guys!!
Don't forget to leave room for dessert!
The Peach Cobbler and Pecan Pie (P250 each) are just two of four desserts you can find at Fat Daddy's Smokehouse! But if you'd rather drink your sweets, their Caramel Popcorn Milkshake and Smokey Maple Bacon Milkshakes are also worth trying!
