Celebrated Christmas in January with my KTG family!
Last weekend, The KTG stayed over at F1 Hotel in BGC for our super late Christmas party. Being that there are a lot of us in the group, we figured it would be best to just plan the party way in advance, so more people can guarantee their attendance! (Hey that rhymes! Haha)
We all met up at F1 Hotel's Premier Lounge where we checked in and had snacks before lunch.
Coffee, tea, and juices available for the guests
Assorted cookies and cake!
Lounge seats for when you want to relax
And some books and magazines for when you want to read!
Soon, we all headed downstairs for lunch at F All-Day Dining. There, we met F1 Hotel Manila's new executive chef, Chef Angelo "Chubby" Timban. Chef Chubby has previously worked at Resorts World Manila, Discovery Suites, Shangri-La Boracay, Traders Hotel, and Manila Pavilion. With all the experiences he's accumulated the past years, Chef Chubby definitely more than ready to take on Bonifacio Global City.
Chef Chubby is now leading all of F1 Hotel's kitchen operations, from F All-DayDining, Canary Lounge, to their banquet and social events.
I've always loved the seating at F1 Hotel. It's so comfy!
Two very different soup options: Pumpkin Soup or Seafood Laksa
Salad station
Assorted meats and cheeses! Always a plus!
Customize your noodle bowl!
The Japanese station! My favorite! Not in photo: salmon and tuna sashimi
F All-Day Dining is known for offering contemporary Filipino and international cuisine. What to try:
Gochuchang Chicken
Grilled Squid
Pork Pastrami
Beef Ribs Adobo
Lechon Cebu
And finally, the dessert station:
So much to choose from! P.S. Their creme brulee is SO GOOD!
Bread and Butter Pudding
After lunch, we all headed to our respective rooms to rest a bit and get ready for our various activities. Some went to the gym, some went swimming, some decided to walk over to High Street.
Here's what Cess and I did..
We finished preparing our gifts for the KTG fam, which Mark and Bianca bought a week before and Richie gave out during dinner. Now that's what you call team work! ;)
Oh and before I forget: ROOM TOUR!
So much space! The beds are huge, too! P.S. This is my second time at F1 Hotel.
Read about my stay at their Fort Suite and their different amenities, like the pool, gym, and the spa here.
Soon, it was time to get ready for dinner. Since I haven't any clue on how to put on make-up, I lounged and took a bunch of selfies while waiting for Cess to finish hers.
We headed down to F1 Hotel's Infinity Ballroom which they decked out for us that evening.
We enjoyed a bunch of dishes from F1: Herb Roast Chicken with Hoisin Mint Jelly, Fish Roulade in Creamy Mushroom Masala (my fave!), Tinapa and Aligue Pasta (Tim's fave!), Wok Fry Ratatouille, and Crispy Pork Belly with Blackforest Sauce. Huge thanks to F1 and Chef Chubby for this amazing feast!
Aside from those, we also enjoyed some delicious ham pandesal from The Plaza Premium Baked Ham, cheeses (truffle cream cheese spread, raclette, and more) from La Petite Fromagerie, and slushie drinks from Swizzle Mobile Bar!
We capped off the night with some Serenitea (loved their Okinawa!) and Brooklyn Pizza!
During the course of the night, we exchanged gifts, drank some wine, and sang like crazy!
It's always fun with The KTG!
At 12:30am, Cess and I went up to our room to get ready for our massage. It was the perfect way to end the night.
The following morning, we woke up at 7am to have breakfast.
My breakfast date!
Our plates. Can you guess which one's mine?
Bacon - a breakfast staple at F1!
