Spacious rooms, great food, and a rooftop pool!
We arrived at Subic Bay International Airport from Manila via Air Juan where the folks over at Best Western Plus Hotel Subic picked us up for our weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the crazy city life!
We check in at their Deluxe Queen Room, a very spacious 24-square meter room featuring two large double beds, a work table, a small fridge, more-than-enough closet space, a safety deposit box, and a huge bathroom!
It's the type of room you wouldn't mind staying in the entire day, especially because they have free wifi available in all of their rooms! I was able to squeeze in some work and update my blog thanks to it!
I also liked the simple and sleek design of their bathroom; it's spacious and very well-lit. Perfect for putting on make-up and taking those OOTDs and selfies with!
Soon, it was time to head downstairs for the launch of Spencer's Gastro Pub. You can read more about the event in this post.

After the event, we didn't feel like going back to our rooms yet. Mind you, it was already past midnight, but we decided it was a good time as any to go out and explore the area. Good thing Best Western Plus Hotel Subic is located very near Waterfront Road where restaurants like Texas Joe's and Aresi are located.
We ended up at Tong Kyung Am Japanese and Korean Restaurant where we had samgyeopsal and jjigae!

The following morning, I woke up early to check the breakfast selections at Spencer's as well as pay a visit to the hotel's gym.
By the time I was done, everyone was still asleep, so I decided to chill at the hotel's rooftop pool instead.
It is easily my favorite area of Best Western Plus Hotel Subic.
Once the girls were ready, I had them meet me at the rooftop. Funny thing happened, we all loved the vibe so much that we didn't want to leave, so we thought it'd be a great idea to just have our breakfast there! And Best Western happily obliged! :)
We ate, swam, took photos, and just lounged the afternoon away.
