Spent Sunday breakfast at High Street Lounge with my mom and sister!
Since my dad was out of town and my brother was going to be busy the entire day, I thought it would be nice to take my mom and sister out one whole Sunday. I chose Shangri-La at the Fort as our first stop. And since my girls have such small appetites, I thought we should just do ala carte at High Street Lounge rather than the buffet at High Street Cafe. Sure, the offerings are limited, but we were pretty happy with what we had.
We started off with some drinks. As per usual, my sister ordered something cold (the Frappe) while my mom went with a Cappuccino. I, on the other hand, didn't feel like drinking coffee, so I got the next best thing - flavored tea.
Frappe (P200)
Cappuccino (P180)
Rose with French Vanilla Tea (Php160 per pot)
Our breakfast consisted mostly of carbs - fresh toast, flat bread, and an open-faced sandwich.
Fluffy Brioche Cinnamon Fresh Toast (P390)
strawberries, banana, maple syrup
Whole Wheat Flat Bread (P490)
mushrooms, tomato salsa, buffalo mozzarella, herb olive oil drizzle, cracked pepper
The Eggs (P525)
grilled homemade bread, grilled ham, cheese, two fried eggs, bacon, sauteed heirloom tomatoes
The Eggs came out last because one of the servers forgot to list it down. It's okay though, they made it up to us with some complimentary fruits!
Obligatory flatlay shot :P
It's been a while since the three of us went out together, so huge thanks to High Street Lounge for the superb service!
High Street Lounge is located on the second level of Shangri-La at the Fort, 30th Street cor. 5th Avenue, BGC. Opening hours: 6am to 1am daily
