Wums Cafe is one of those hidden gems along Maginhawa. It's located inside When Uan Met Sally (WUMS), hence the name. I didn't actually realize what Wums meant until I started this writeup. :P

The place is small - cozy, private, and romantic. It is not the type of place you should go to if you're dining with your ex... which I happened to be doing that night. Haha!

No, we didn't plan it. We were just driving around Maginhawa and ended up here. It's nice though, right?

Truffle Penne and Shiitake Cream (P240)

Whenever I see truffle pasta on the menu, I just have to try it. The combination of truffle oil, cream, and mushrooms always results to something amazing and this one's no exception.

It was creamy, and it didn't have that nakakasawa taste in my opinion.

Baked Nachos (P175)

Their baked nachos consisted of fresh tomato salsa, beef, jalapeno, and sour cream. To be honest, it was just okay. I'm not sure what value was added from baking the nachos compared to just getting it straight from the bag.

Vodka Spaghetti (P240)

We were told this was one of their bestsellers. I initially didn't want to order it, because I thought it would be just color white, and we're already having the truffle pasta. But it turns out, they added some tomatoes and shrimps in there that gave it a kind of light orange glow. It was really yummy, definitely different from the pasta dishes we usually get to eat at other restaurants.

I'd totally order this again.
