Welcome to Nurture Wellness Village!
Upon our arrival, some of the staff members of Nurture Wellness Village greeted us with live music, flower petals, ginger tea, and my favorite - cold towels to refresh us from the long trip!
They even prepared a sign board just to welcome the foodies to Nurture :)
Just a few steps from the lobby is their restaurant, which was named after the owner's great grandmother, Gabriela.
Here, they offer numerous traditional Filipino favorites like beef tapa, kare-kare, Batangas lomi, grilled tanigue, and sinampalukang manok. They also have sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts, and even healthy juices available on the menu, so whether you're staying the night or just dropping by for lunch, there's definitely something for you at Gabriela.
We got to watch them prepare coffee the old fashioned way and we got to sample all of their Signature Kale drinks - each with its own health benefit!
They have juices for the heart, kidney, and liver, and another for anti-cancer. They also use honey instead of sugar as sweetener, so it's healthier! Feel free to ask them about these drinks on your visit!

For merienda, we had Gabriela's Arroz Caldo.
They served the arroz caldo in a huge pot, with the garnishes on the side, so you can control how much you want in your bowl.
Price of Arroz Caldo:
P399 good for 2 / P950 good for 5 / P1,800 good for 10
I made sure to get a bit of everything and here's the result! :)
The Arroz Caldo was the perfect afternoon snack since, as we all know, Tagaytay has a cooler weather compared to the city. I especially loved mine with lots of chili sauce in it!
For dessert, we were served their Suman at Mangga (P150).
The sweetened sticky rice with a mango center is served with hot Batangas tsokolate that can either be used for dipping or drinking. I like that they didn't make it the suman too sweet, so it went really well with the ripe mangoes.
Don't forget to stop by the Nurture Store on your way out - they sell organic fruits, vegetables, and more! ;)
