The Great Eatscape: Tuan Tuan

You have GOT to try their pork, duck, and custard buns!! :)

So after enjoying the Thai offerings at COCA, Italian at Mona Lisa, and American at NBA Cafe, we now head to TuanTuan to enjoy Chinese cuisine. I love how we're really able to explore different flavors thanks to The Great Eatscape!


The Great Eatscape is SM Aura's food crawl series in partnership with ForkSpoonManila. The word “eatscape" comes from the word eat which means to consume food, and scape which is a view or a picture of a scene. Combined, it’s basically a food scene where you can experience or rediscover the many different and unique dining options that can be found at SM Aura Premier.

We started off the meal with TuanTuan's signature crispy snow buns. It was really difficult for me to choose a favorite because they were all so good. Their pork and duck buns are crispy and sweet on the outside, soft and savoury on the inside, but I just went crazy over the custard bun! I need more! <3

Laksa

rich and spicy noodles with evident hints of coconut cream

Original Fish Soup

slow cooked halibut fish that creates a noodle soup that is light and refreshing to the palate

Beef Rib Curry

authentic Hong Kong style curry, rich and creamy sauce with premium cuts of beef

Turnip

flavorful turnips sautéed with XO sauce to give out a perfect blend of savoury and spicy

HK Coffee / Naicha

Tuan Tuan’s signature drinks that use Black and White Milk, a staple milk used by the best tea masters in the world - rich, creamy, and definitely authentic!

I'll definitely be back for those buns and more naicha!
