There are actually a lot of things about Sundays that I like. One of which is that I get to rest. It's the only day I have away from work, so I really try to make the most of it. Though that's really besides the point since I didn't actually dine at TSAS on a Sunday, it was on Maundy Thursday, which was a holiday, so that's kind of like the same thing.
First things first - I love their entire look! Like a real house, they have an actual porch, where Tim and I would've eaten at if it wasn't so hot.
So yes, we dined inside and this is how it looks:
P.S. Good morning, Tim! HAHAHA <3
The first floor had maybe five or six tables, but they have a second floor too, which I completely adored!
Gaah, I wonder who designed their space because I'd love to have a home that looks like this.
Everything looks so cozy and homey and I just want to stay here foreverrrrrrrr
Tim ordered the Beef Tapa (P138)
served with rice and two eggs
The tapa was cooked really well. It came out flavorful, and tasted even better dipped in vinegar.
I ordered the US Minute Steak with Mushroom Gravy (P299)
served with garlic rice and mixed vegetables
Though some parts of the steak was hard to cut (maybe I took too much time taking photos haha), I still enjoyed my meal because of the overall ambiance and the great service. I asked for some A1 sauce, unfortunately it wasn't available, but the staff was kind enough to offer me additional mushroom gravy instead, which I happily obliged because that was some delicious gravy! I poured it over my rice and the vegetables and pretty much drowned my steak in it. Tip: Eat this dish immediately so the steak doesn't get cold and hard.
There's Something About Sunday is located at 49-C Scout Tobias Street, Quezon City.
