Quick barkada getaway, anyone?
If you're looking for an escape that's not far from the city, then check out Los Arcos de Hermano. It's about an hour drive from TriNoma Mall or about twenty minutes away from SM Fairview.
The five-hectare property consists of swimming pools, events halls, overnight accommodations, a camp site, lush gardens, a petting zoo, and team building facilities.
There are even life-sized characters in certain areas for kids and kids at heart to take photos with!
They're everywhere, guys.
We were here in time for their fourth anniversary celebration and the theme was Hawaiian Luau. They hired fire dancers, hula girls, and a live band just for the occasion! The entire night was pretty much a pool party!
Speaking of pools, Los Arcos de Hermano has four - an olympic sized pool, a kiddie pool, an infinity pool that pours into another pool, and a private pool.
Accommodations are available but they have cabanas for rent for those who aren't planning to stay the night. Rates start at P800 for good for 10 pax.
As you can see from the photos, the entire resort is surrounded by trees! I love that they added a nature aspect to it, it makes me feel like I'm in a hidden sanctuary somewhere far away.
One important thing to have during outings is great food, and here at Los Arcos de Hermano, you can bring all your favorites! There's no corkage fee to pay; in fact, they have a grilling station where you can cook your baon for free! They do have food available at the Acacia Bistro (which is currently being managed by a different group), but the food's just so so. I recommend that you bring your own if you can. :)
This area in front of the Acacia Bistro is what we called the Wifi Area. Because folks, this is where you get the best signal! #BloggerProblems haha!

More than just swimming pools, Los Arcos de Hermano also caters to all kinds of events - debuts, weddings, birthday parties - you name it! They aim to be the events venue of choice in the nearby cities of San Jose Del Monte and the best alternative out of town venue for Metro Manila clients.
They have function halls that can fit as many as 200 pax. And what's great about it is that, it's nowhere near the pool area, so you won't hear splashes or loud noises from other groups.
I was surprised that they even had a chapel. Sure it's small, but it's quiet and solemn.
As of now, they have a petting zoo in the middle of the resort, but according to the owner, it will be torn down soon and turned into another pool. It's a pretty big area, so that pool's definitely going to be massive!!
At the far end of the resort is where the campsite is located.
People can choose to bring their own tents or stay in dorm rooms for their team building sessions. I took a few photos of the campsite and immediately imagined having a picnic there! It was so peaceful! Nothing but trees and the smell of fresh air. Even though it was hot out, the trees covered the sun's rays, so we didn't feel as hot as we normally would in the city.
Hmm maybe we could do some team building exercises on our next visit? Should be fun!
Perfect swimming weather! :)

The following set of photos feature the infinity pool. We were lucky to have had it all to ourselves that morning. It felt like we had a world of our own, we didn't really hear any of the outside noise. It was just us and nature.
A lot of people come here especially during the summer, but don't worry, there's more than enough pools for everyone! (Photo below was taken around noon on a Sunday)
Thank you, Cheena and Los Arcos de Hermano, for hosting our weekend!
Los Arcos de Hermano is located at Paradise Farm, Brgy. Tungkong Mangga, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
