To date, Nail Cocktales already has 19 branches all over the Philippines! They only started three years ago and look at where they are now. It just shows that our dreams really can come true if we have the courage to pursue it.
I have been getting my nails done at their Tomas Morato branch since they started, and to be honest, I'm not surprised that they grew this quickly. It is their unique concept and quality service that led to their success and continued growth. They'll have more branches soon, I just know it.
It's the ultimate way to relax, having your nails done while drinking a cocktail!
It's a great place to have spa parties too. I would know - my friends and I booked them for a baby shower last year. We had our nails done together, we gossiped, we laughed, we reminisced. It was perfect!
For this session, I went with a Hand Paraffin and their Glam Goddess package which includes foot spa, manicure, pedicure, and a moisturizing wrap.
Everything was going smoothly, until the hand paraffin, that is. IT WAS CRAZY HOT!
According to an article I read: "Petroleum-based paraffin wax is used in salons and spas to soften and soothe skin, most often on the hands and feet, and sometimes on arms and legs. Your hands are submerged in the warm liquid wax of a paraffin hand spa, and the wax then hardens slightly on your skin and is removed after a few minutes. The paraffin wax helps deep-moisturize and condition the skin on your hands, and your nails and cuticles."
Was it worth it? Well, my hands felt really smooth after, so I guess it worked!
Painted my hands with Orly Epix's Cameo (semi-gel, so it's long lasting) and Morgan Taylor's Gotta Have Hue (such a pretty color! Makes the feet look whiter!)
Nail Cocktales is located at 195 Tomas Morato Avenue corner Scout Funtabella, Quezon City.
