One of the most affordable Chinese restaurants I've ever encountered.
Our first time dining here was on a Sunday night, after the Choral Fiesta at our church two weeks ago.

We were surprised as to how packed Tien Ma's was then, since we are always in the area yet we've never heard of the place until Tim brought me some xiao long bao that one time. It was already past 8pm when we arrived, so we had to wait for a table. Good thing the turnover didn't take very long because we were already starvingggg.

It was only when I started browsing through their menu that I finally understood why people flocked to this restaurant - the dishes Tien Ma's offers are mostly P200 and below. Try comparing their prices to other Chinese restaurants you know. It's cheap, right?
Tofu with Century Egg (P120)

The tofu didn't taste much, but I still ate a lot of it, I don't know why. Haha! P.S. I love century egg!! :)
Of course, we couldn't eat without ordering some Xiao Long Bao (P200). They even have a fried version for the same price. I'm just not sure if it will have soup inside. Probably not.

Pan-Fried Pork and Shrimp Dumplings (P200)

My favorite! I'm a sucker for pan-fried dumplings.
Beef Brisket with Radish Stew (P199)

Hot and Sour Soup (P200)

No surprise here. I think this dish tastes the same anywhere.
Pineapple Fried Rice with Pork Floss (P200)

The servings are generous for 200 bucks. I love that it's served in an actual pineapple.
Tausi Clams (P199)

Three-Cup Squid (P199)

The squid's okay. It was on the chewy side; I'd still choose salt and pepper squid any day.
Overall, the food is great for its price. They have a wide range of items to choose from, and they're open for breakfast, lunch, merienda, and dinner. It's a good place to go to if you find yourself suddenly craving for some xiao long bao or some traditional Taiwanese soup.
