A little late in the game, but better late than never, right?
Finally got to eat at Wildflour after dropping by Manila's 1st Picnic Pop-Up at the Forbes Town Center. We were still full from our meal earlier that day at CPK, so we decided to just go with something light.
Tomato Soup (P210)
with sour cream and basil
Spicy Caesar Salad (P320)
romaine, arugula, bread crumbs, parmesan, and pickled chilli
Mushroom Fundido (P450)
mozzarella, cheddar cheese, and wild mushrooms
We were pretty happy with everything we ordered, and I'd totally recommend each and every one of them for you to try, especially the salad and the mushroom fundido (if you're big on cheese and mushrooms, that is). The salad was just a teeny bit spicy, but it makes a whole world of difference, I swear! It was really good! Take note, I don't go around telling people I like vegetables - but I am trying to add more greens into my diet. The soup, on the other hand, makes for a good contrast against the cheese when you feel you've already had too much of it. My sister also suggests the Parmesan Churros, which I'll probably go back for. (P.S. Their Grilled Cheese is #1 on spot.ph, so that's definitely worth trying too!)
