Rewinding to last month's clubhouse meet-up that happened at Wicked Kitchen!
Since the girls wanted to try something new compared to our usual Greenhills/Banawe lunches, we decided to head over to QC's food capital - Maginhawa! I don't remember why we picked Wicked Kitchen though, since there are a lot of other, more unique options along the street, but oh well.
The food was okay. I wanted to try their bestselling pasta, the Ex's Lasagna, but it wasn't available at the time so I settled with their Rebound Lasagna. I thought it was disapponting, but Cathy's hubby, Dino, ordered the same thing and liked it. The other dishes were alright for me, too - Buffalo Wings, Carbonara, Beef Bulgogi, Beef Salpicao, and Chicken Teriyaki. I don't know, maybe my taste buds were just being weird that day. I'm still happy I got to spend the afternoon with the girls though.
Of course, we couldn't leave without having dessert - after all, it's what people come here for. We had Greed (s'mores with graham crackers) but I like Gluttony (baked cookie with ice cream) more. My descriptions don't do justice to these amazing desserts, but they're really worth skipping your diet for. ;)
