My kind of cafe! ;)
Mike and I had the pleasure of meeting three of the four wonderfully creative people behind Cafféra - Jyka, Kevin, and Gab. They, along with their fourth member Jizel, are a group of entrepreneur students who came up with the idea of opening a camera-themed cafe for their thesis. Much like any other business, this one took a lot of planning and effort before it came to life. The fact that they were able to do all this while they're still studying makes it so inspiring! Grabe, just imagine, they haven't even graduated yet and they already have their own business! Makes you wonder what you've been doing with your life, doesn't it? Haha
While some of their classmates decided to run online shops for the project, their group went over and beyond by starting something that could work in the long run, even though their professors didn't believe in the idea. To them, it wasn't just a school requirement, but a real investment. Since they're spending so much time and money on it, why not keep it going even after thesis, right? And it worked! In the two months that they've been open, the cafe is already a huge success.
Here, everything goes with the theme - from the displays to the mugs, even the food and drinks are photography-related! Just check out the menu!
Notice how instagram filters were used in the names of the drinks? Also, frapperture stands for frappe and ISO means iced.
Below, we have Cafféra's best-selling frappe, the Tiramisu Frapperture! By the way, their drinks come in pixel and megapixel sizes. How adorable is that??
Here's their Grenadine Gradient Soda, a refreshing drink made from pomegranate syrup!
If you're looking for something hot, try the Lomo Latte! Gab went through barista training, so you know the coffee's good. ;)
The food's not bad either, in fact, I loved their Chocolate Chip Cookie S'mores! A bit on the pricey side at P110, but I wouldn't mind coming back for this alone. It's the perfect treat to share with your best friend or significant other.
Now, the Cheese Spuds is a different story. It's only P50 per order, so I suggest getting your own, because it's too good to share! Haha! I couldn't get enough of this!
And finally, here's their own version of Red Velvet Cupcake! P.S. the camera is edible (and yummy, too)!
Galing niyo, guys! :) Mike and I will definitely be back soon!
Like their Facebook page to be in the loop! They're planning to sell mugs and other camera-related merchandise that every photography enthusiast will surely like!
