Celebrated Mike's birthday with some crazy good breakfast at The Breakfast Table last week. Good thing I was able to find a place that opens early (7am), so we got to squeeze in some quality time before I had to go to work. :P
Mike and I really enjoyed Papa Diddi's Tsoko (hot chocolate). It reminds me of my lola's tsokolateng tablea, which I miss so much, since we only have it during Christmas Eve (her birthday). So glad to know there's a place nearby that serves it!
Since my last Eggs Benedict memory was a miss, I decided to take a chance on their Eggs TBT (P195). And let me just say, theirs is the best I've had in a loooong while. Two thumbs up for this!
Mike had the Binagoongan Omurice (P185) which we also liked. Next time we'll try the Adobo Omurice naman.
Since it was his birthday, I let him try my food for a change (lol just kidding, I always share!)
After finishing our meals, we were craving for more; I still had time, so we decided to order another dish. We went with their Savory French Toast (P180). It wasn't as special as our previous orders, but it was still good. Finished it in a snap! (Yes, we were that hungry.)
