Just a quick post to talk about the special dinner our family had for Valentines last week!
We decided to finally try Chef's Noodle, and what better way to start this post but with a photo of their signature dish (which they appropriately named after the restaurant).
Chef's Noodle is a great place if you're looking for a quick fix (an affordable one at that!) Imagine getting an order of Bulgogi Kimbap for only 95 pesos!
Seaweed rice rolls with beef and leeks - best when dipped in Korean soy sauce!
We enjoyed this so much that we ended up getting two orders!
My mom ordered their Jjampong (P195), which is basically spicy Korean seafood noodles.
It came out of the kitchen really hot, as in boiling hot, which is exactly how my parents like their noodles!
When I asked which soup they liked more, they said they prefer the Jjampong over the Chef's Noodle. Though you have to know - in our family, spicy always wins. Hahaha!
Here's a photo of the Chef's Noodle, less the soup and toppings kasi wala lang. :P
For some reason, I felt like having rice that night so I ordered their Kimchi Bokkumbap (P130).
The kimchi was soooooo good! Everything else about the dish was okay, I mixed everything up and added some soy sauce to make it more flavorful.
One of our staples when it comes to eating in a Korean restaurant - Japchae (P130). Glass noodles for the win! <3
I was already full at this point.. but I can never say no to dessert. Their Full House Sherbet (P95) is a definite must-try for every ice cream lover. I especially loved the nata de coco and red bean toppings. :p
That's it for now! More reviews to come in the following weeks, I promise! :)
Don't forget to check out their Facebook page for updates!
