Cat Cafe Manila Officially Opens Today!

Cat Cafe Manila
Welcome to Cat Cafe Manila - the newest hang-out place to open this side of the Metro! :)

Cat Cafe Manila is nothing like your neighborhood cafe. In fact, thanks to owners Anna Calvo and Denis Ty, feline lovers have a new reason to celebrate, and it's located along Maginhawa Street, QC!  Cat Cafe Manila
It is a wonderful, cozy space where people can come and not only enjoy the company of their friends and families, but cats, as well! :)

To be honest, I've always been a dog person; but after spending time with these beautiful and super lambing creatures, I'm not so sure anymore! Are you ready to meet the cats? (Warning: ton of   ahead)

Currently, Cat Cafe Manila serves as the home of 10 puspins (soon to be 12), who have been spayed and neutered - making them friendlier and more behaved compared to other cats.

Ugh, Mama Cat, you're so cute.

Caught Bicco staring at the toy mice; he can't seem to decide whether he wants to play with them or not.

Here are some important things you need to know before going to Cat Cafe Manila:

1. There is an occupancy limit of 15 persons in the cafe per hour. During peak periods, a 1-hour time limit will be enforced to preserve the harmony of our cats' cozy abode.

2. To ensure a safe and orderly environment for both cats and humans, they have several house rules for all the guests to abide by. Please read them before entering the cafe.

3. The cafe is currently on soft opening and entry is on a per reservation basis. To get your slot, please reserve your ticket through their Eventbrite page. All tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and payment will be done upon entry to the cafe. They will not entertain any reservations over e-mail, phone or social media.

4. There is an admission fee of P200 - P100 of which will go to the cats (food, litter, medical expenses, etc.) and the remaining P100 will be a consumable amount in the cafe which can be used for food, drinks, and merchandise.

  2. I'm also a dog person. I wonder if I'll change my mind when I go there. There seems to be a cafe like this in Blue Bay Walk too although I haven't been inside. I just see it through the windows.

    1. The cats don't really mind you because they tend to do their own thing. I've been here three times now, and though I do think the cats are cute, I don't see myself ever getting one. Haha try it! I think Cat Cafe Manila's the newest one :)

    1. Hey Darlene! I agree, it really is a awesome concept! There's also a dog cafe somewhere in Katipunan, I think. But I haven't been able to go there yet. I got to try the oreo milkshake like two months ago and it was really good :) They also have more pastries now, I think I tried some kind of tuna turnover, and I liked that too :)

  6. I've heard a few of these kinds of cafes popping up, I've seen a bunny cafe where you can go and cuddle bunnies which is adorable! I'm not a cat person as I've got severe allergies but this cafe looks amazing, love the wall for climbing and hiding, cats always get the coolest things to play around on!

  11. I have always liked cats... not keen on adopting or having one as a pet though. I think they are really nice and I like that they would rub themselves on my legs. Now the cafe is definitely unique and I can appreciate that aside from being a business, it has an advocacy too.

Ako naman, it's when they rub themselves on my legs that I don't like. Nakakagulat eh!
