An ALTHEA Birthday/Christmas Wishlist

Hey guys! I just got home from a 6-day trip onboard Star Cruises SuperStar Virgo! We went to Ha Long Bay, Vietnam and Sanya, China for two days, but the rest of the trip, we were just on the ship, and it got me thinking.. Christmas is fast approaching and for me, that only means one thing - I'M GETTING MARRIED IN FIVE MONTHS!

It's so crazy how 2018 just flew by! I've been engaged for nine months already, and getting married in five. FIVE MONTHS, PEOPLE. I still have so many things to book and prepare for. I'm just not ready yet, and neither is my skin! I can already imagine how even more stressed I'll become the next few months. Grabe. I'm definitely going to need all the help I can get.

With that (since my birthday's coming up as well hihi), I thought it'd be fun to make a christmas-slash-birthday wishlist consisting of things my skin will be needing for the occasion. I'm not all that particular when it come to my wedding, but I've realized that all eyes will be on me and Tim on that day, so I really need to prepare for it.

Here's a list of stuff I want / currently saving for from Althea Korea:

Now, this item isn't new to me since my mom has it, but I don't want to have to borrow skincare products from my mom forever. I mean, a girl's gotta get her own, you know? The Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is one of the bestselling products over at Althea and I'm not surprised because from the few times I've used it, I really, really like it.. It provides intensive hydration, vitality and brightening effect while restoring skin with deep relaxation.

I love facial mists as it refreshes you after a long day. This Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel Mist is a product I've been wanting to try, especially since it's suited for all skin types. It is enriched with vitamins and great for keeping the skin hydrated, so that's number two on my list!

I've been reading a lot of posts about these two products. The Rose edition is made with French rose petals and extract to refine the skin, while the Tea edition contains Jeju green tea leaves and extracts to purify. It's basically a 10-second, 2-in-1 cleanser pack that showcases real, fresh ingredients and incorporates them into a system that allows a deep, clarifying cleanse while boosting the skin with nutrients and goodness. This product leaves the skin feeling fresh and looking smooth for a healthy, happy complexion!

Lately, I've noticed how dull my skin has become. Whenever I leave the house, I have to have lip tint and blush on, otherwise I would look pale. I read about the Missha First Treatment Essence Intensive Moist and it seems to have really good reviews on the web. One even said "it makes my skin soft, glowing and breakout free." This product features better extraction methods of specialized ingredients and is infused with 90% Himalayan purple barley, making it absorb into your skin instantly to energize it. This essence works to deeply hydrate from within, going deep into the layers to plump them up. The result is skin that is rejuvenated and hydrated, with improvements to skin tone and fine lines.

Redness has always been a problem of mine, and it's seems to be something that this Rich Moist Soothing Serum can resolve. It not only calms irritations, but it also soothes and gives your skin the hydration it needs. Best of all, it's a vegan-friendly formula that doesn't test on animals or uses animal-based ingredients, so you can keep both your skin and those furry ones happy too!

Another problem I've encountered is large pores, so I'm always on the lookout for solutions to this. Expect to find more than one pore-related product on this list. This one supposedly takes care of dead skin cells and pores at once, with Cornmint Extract that give a cooling and moisturizing effect that  can help tighten the pores.

Listing these two since they both have something I need. The Glacial Clay is made to declog tired, congested skin, this creamy clay mask contains Canadian glacial clay to control sebum while drawing out impurities from deep within for a fresh, clear complexion, while the Pink Clay pulls out impurities from the pores and brightens dull skin. They're kind of the same, but not really, so I've decided to put them both here instead.

Toldya to expect a lot of pore items here. Haha. I don't have any experience with Innisfree products yet, but since they opened their store here in Manila, I've been curious to see the types of products they offer. I don't know if it's just hype, but it doesn't hurt to give it a try, right? The first line on its description on Althea states, "Radiant, smooth skin while you catch some Zs?" YES PLEASE!

SuperStar Virgo had a massive sale onboard and Sulwhasoo was one of the brands people went crazy for. It's been really hard looking for a cushion that doesn't dry out my skin, but this Sulwhasoo one has Squalene - A moisturizing ingredient that soothes irritations and balances out the water to oil levels of the skin. So maybe this will work for me?

I know this last one has nothing to do with skincare, but I've always wanted my own two tone lip bar! I feel like if someone gives me one, I will cry. I swear. Hahaha! It's just one of those things that falls under "stuff you don't need, but want." Hi, friends, please find me a shade that works well for me. TIA!
