Tablea Brownies

Tablea Brownies
It's been a while since I made something in the kitchen, so I headed to the store yesterday and got straight to work! The result? Tablea Brownies! It's a lighter alternative from the usual fudgy brownies - not overly sweet, but just enough to satisfy your chocolate craving. :)

Ingredients:
1 cup butter (I used a bar of Dari Creme Lite 200g)
2 cups sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
8 medium sized eggs
50g chopped nuts (about 1/4 cup)
1 cup chopped tablea tsokolate (or 14 pieces of Southern Folk Cacao which you can get here)

Yields 32 brownies

Steps:
1. Preheat your oven to 190ºC or ~350ºF.
2. Melt together your butter and tablea tsokolate; leave to cool
3. On a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, and salt.
4. Mix eggs in with your butter and tablea (make sure it's no longer hot or else your eggs will cook)
5. Slowly add in your dry ingredients
6. Oil your pan just enough so the brownies won't stick; then transfer the mixture onto 2 square pans
7. Leave in the oven for about 20 minutes (but still check on it from time to time so it doesn't end up too dry)

I'm so happy with how mine turned out! The family loved it, too!
