20 Years of SeaKing

Superb Catch, Inc., the company behind the brand SeaKing turns 20 this 2019!

Many years ago, I used to work for a company that supplied local products to supermarkets in the US and Middle East. One of the products we exported was SeaKing. I can't believe they've been around for 20 years already!
Saw my old bosses at the event haha

The SeaKing empire was built from scratch - it took the Uy siblings a long time, but it just goes to show - slow and steady wins the race. In 1999, the Uy siblings wanted to start something that would support their father's fish farm business. That's when they thought about penetrating the frozen milkfish industry. Would you believe it all began with them deboning the milkfish in their own backyard?
Three years later, they moved to a bigger production site to cater to their growing market. In 2004, they started exporting their products to Guam, which paved the way to supplying to countries like South Korea, Japan, London, Australia, Canada, USA, and the Middle East.

They've also released new products since - from Squid Bits to Calamari Sticks, frozen Cream Dory, their Bottled Bangus Collection, and now, the frozen Wild Alaskan Salmon.
The company sells to more than 1500 supermarkets, restaurants, and hotel chains all over the country. And they're not backing down. They're going to keep producing quality products that adhere to strict production processes and international food standard approved operations to ensure that the customers get the very best.
Soon, they'll be coming out with dried fish products, their own fish sauce as well as sautéed shrimp paste (bagoong). What else is in the works? Their new 20,000 sqm. production site!
During the event hosted by Issa Litton, we also got a taste of their new SeaKing Wild Alaskan Salmon cooked three ways: Grilled Salmon Steak with Lemon Garlic Sauce, Baked Salmon with Beurre Blanc, and Salmon Skewers.

Why is the Wild Alaskan Salmon such a big deal? Well, it is known to be the best and healthiest seafood protein in the world. It's rich in omega 3 which improves heart health, increases the immune system, provides nutrients for vision, and reduces the risk of diabetes. These wild alaskan salmon only feed on the finest shrimps, crabs, and krill, so they have the best flavor and healthiest quality. So for those who are conscious about their health, better stock up on SeaKing's Wild Alaskan Salmon!
Congratulations on 20 years, Superb Catch Inc. and may you continue to grow in the years to come! :)
