When in Tagaytay, visit a cat cafe!

If you're looking for something new to do in Tagaytay, why not visit Tabby Town Cat Cafe?

It's not actually located in Tagaytay, but along Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road, which you have to go through to get to Tagaytay itself. I suggest heading there in the afternoon as they're only open from 12nn to 8pm on Wednesdays to Fridays, and 11am to 8pm on weekends. It's easy to miss, so try to use Waze, just to be on the safe side. ;)

The cafe has two floors - the first floor is more like your regular cafe; the second floor is where all the excitement happens. That's where you get to interact and play with the cats, so naturally, that's where we stayed!

Per person rates to the Tabby Lounge is as follows:

* Php 200/hr comes with complimentary iced tea

* Php 270/hr comes with your choice of hot or cold drinks or tasty milkshakes

* Php 350/hr comes with your choice of Frappe Overload

To tell you the truth, I'm not a huge cat fan. I don't hate them, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get one either. So I guess cat cafes like this are perfect for me, since you get to control how much interaction you get with the cats. Dogs, however, are another story. I love dogs, so I was pretty excited when I found out that Tabby Town Cat Cafe has a CORGI CAFE too! Will come back next time for that! ;)

Anyway, sharing with you photos of the adorable cats we saw at Tabby Town!

They're not all as friendly, so I would suggest asking the attendant before playing with or carrying any of the cats. Safety first!

Oh and before I forget, bring socks if you can! Everyone's required to wear socks at the lounge. If you forget (or just too lazy to bring them), they do have some for sale at Php 45/pair. :)
